I found a solution for this.
You just go to the Facebook plugins page that Facebook provides. Then you generate a facebook comments plugin with the same settings as the Panda settings (just to be safe, e.g. width, number of comments).
And then you copy only the javascript (the first code, NOT the second) in HTML5 category and place it in a PHP widget on your sidebar. Then your language of choice should appear on your comment box.
It seems to be working fine, however, if i experience any difficulties, I will post here.
