Edits made in Media > Library, or in Posts > Edit > Upload/Insert (Add Media); do not automatically update the HTML already within the post. The image would need to be re-inserted into the post to update the HTML.
Edits made in Posts > Edit > select image in post > click Edit Image icon; do make changes in the HTML for that post but not in the image library.
